My March Favorites

March is my favorite month of the year for many reasons:
1. My birthday is in March :)
2. Spring is starting and flowers are in bloom
3. Summer is just around the corner
4. It stays lighter out later

First of all, school is almost done and that makes me happy. I love school but it feels like my brain needs a mental break from everything going on. With dance everyday, homework and friends it gets tough and busy. It's a struggle maintaining great grades but I think every teenager deals with it. Second of all, my birthday is in 16 and ill be 15 years old. One year closer to driving and freedom to go anywhere (within reason of course.) LOL! So "marching fourth", here are some of my recent favorites:

Tribal Print/Neon Bathing suit (Target $30)
Sequin Top (Kohls)
My favorite doggies (Pink VS)
My favorite nail art

Chevron socks (Vans)

Turkish Delight (NARS)

Braids

Here are a few braids that I love and just had to try them out..

Okay so this is a fishtail braid-
1. Section out the hair into equal parts
2. Then, take two small pieces from each of the sections
3. Cross over the pieces and start to braid
4. Repeat step 2 until no hair is left
5. Secure with an elastic or two
6. Viola' you have a gorgeous easy braid

 Milk Maid Braid-
1. Again split the hair into two parts
2. Then, start to braid normally so you
have two separate braids to work with
3. Secure both braids with elastics
4. Take the right braid and wrap it to the left side of your head
5. Repeat step 4, but, Left side to right
6. Pin (with bobby pinsthe ends of the braids so no hair is sticking out

 Braid Headband-
1. If your hair is long enough like my mom's (btw she's my model :D)
2. Start by taking a small piece of hair on the side of your head , either side will do
3. Do a regular braid and secure with an elastic
4. Kind of like the milk maid braid, bring to the
other side of the head and pin
5. There you go, instead of paying $10 for a fake hair headband you have a stylish free one!

 These are pretty self- explanatory:
1. Start by braiding two pieces of hair on both sides
2. Then once you have those two you can do either of the following
styles

 For this one: "Sailor Wanted"
1. Tie the two braids together loosely and you a a rope-like
nautical look
 For this one: "The Halo"
1. Also like the milk maid braid, wrap the two braids around the back of
your head.
2. Lastly, pin

Its that time of year again....

Yep you heard right! Summer is coming to an end, and I don't like it... The sheer thought of starting high school, (OVERWHELMING and EXCITING). My mornings will start to look a little like this: [1.WAKE UP, 2.Eat breakfast, 3.Get my clothes on, 4.Put on makeup, 5.Do my hair, 6.STRESS OUT a teensy bit scattering all over the house looking frantically for my school bag and lastly 7. Getting to school on time without being lost in the crowd.] So there you go, how my mind works. Its a miracle I even can complete sentences sometimes. I still have a month before I go back to school, but as a teenage girl that is "CLEARLY" not enough time to go school shopping and get enough zzz's to even stay awake the next day while putting a smile on your face and actually look decent. I have kind of developed my own style already, PREPPY! Here are some of my favorite must have fall pieces:

Dream On...

I have a slight shoe addiction, as any other girl may have as well. However for many of us we cant afford the price tag so we can dream... Or save up for them (which I am TERRIBLE AT), because every time I have money in my wallet it seems to disappear really fast. You see, I'm trying to be  a better saver, but every time I go shopping I end up spending my money on something that spends half its life in my closet not being worn.

Take these Jeffrey Campbell's for example, I LOVE LOVE LOVE his shoes!! I think he has an amazing mind and design style however I can't buy them... (YET) well at least until I get a job of my own

Nailed It!

Here are some of my favorite nail polishes this summer so far...
I did this pattern myself,
*white nail polish
*base coat
[*light color
[*dark color
*top coat

1. First, Apply whatever base coat you have
2.Next, Apply two to three coats of white nail polish
3. After, Take a small eraser of pencap and dab a few spots of the light color
on your nail
4. Then, take the darker color to rim to lighter colored spots..
I used a pen tip to rim but you can use a toothpic
4. Lastly, let dry COMPLETELY and then put a top coat on so the
pattern last for a week or two

I love this lavender color by Essie

Virgin by Urban Outfitters^^^
